CustomMed Apothecary, LLC is Indianapolis' first compounding-only pharmacy located at the corner of 56th Street and Lafayette Road in Eagle Creek Plaza (address: 5510 Lafayette Rd., Ste 260, Indianapolis, IN 46254).
CustomMed Apothecary is a family owned pharmacy by husband and wife pharmacists Jeff & Angie Jackson. Jeff Jackson, R.Ph. Received his Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmacy from Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1997. He is a member of the International Association of Compounding Pharmacists, the Community Pharmacists of Indiana and the National Community Pharmacists Association. Jeff was honored to be chosen as Pharmacist of the Month by Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) in December of 2003. Angie Jackson, Pharm.D. Received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1998. Angie completed a Community Pharmacy Practice Residency at Leesburg Pharmacy in 1999. Angie is a member of the International Association of Compounding Pharmacists. Together they opened CustomMed Apothecary, LLC in March of 2000.
At CustomMed we focus on the art of compounding, where pharmacy first started. (?) We compound a variety of unique dosage forms including creams, transdermal gels, solutions, suspensions, capsules, troches, suppositories, etc. We focus on specific areas including bio-identical hormone replacement, adrenals, thyroid, pain management, veterinary medicine, sports medicine, nutrition, wound care, discontinued medications, pediatric meds & flavoring, etc. We are a specialty pharmacy that focuses on custom compounding for individual patient needs.
